The leather shows only a small surface scratch on the outside of the lower part of one armchair. True to the manufacturer's standards, the leather is of the highest quality and has a very pleasant feel. The metal trim on the base is flawless. the italian manufacturer c&b italia was founded by cesare cassina and piero busnelli and fully acquired by busnelli in 1973. At that time, the company was renamed b&b italia. Maxalto originated from an idea by piero busnelli, along with afra and tobia scarpa, to produce neoclassical designs of the highest quality. Maxalto means "the highest" in venetian dialect and reflects the high standards applied to the products.
