According to legend, King Minos of Crete decided to design a sophisticated labyrinth in which to eternally imprison his stepson, the fearsome Minotaur. To do so, he sought the help of Daedalus, an architect and inventor renowned throughout Greece for his skill. Upon completion, however, Daedalus was locked in the labyrinth along with his son Icarus by Minos himself, who did not want to risk his creator revealing the plan to anyone. To escape, the genius realized that the only way out of the labyrinth was to escape by flight. He thus constructed two pairs of wings from feathers and wax, but the flight of freedom cost his son dearly, who, flying too close to the sun, melted his wings and fell to his death.

Ingenuity and imagination: this is how the globe bar was born, from the long experience of Italo Zoffoli, who had been working with wood for many years, producing exquisite hand-painted globes, and from a sudden idea that came to him in a moment while sipping a glass of wine. from that day on, creativity and knowledge have become Zoffoli's hallmark, and he decided to pay homage to these two qualities by naming one of his most beautiful globes after the Greek hero.

Dedalo is a timeless globe, as eternal as the history of man, his qualities, and his legends. The lagoon version, featuring a replica of a 16th-century cartography in cool aquamarine tones, displays all the charm of the ancient and the mythological; This is precisely why it's perfect for classic-style furnishings. Inside the sphere, extraordinary mythological characters look out over the interior decorations. The sphere rotates completely around its meridian, whether open or closed.
