This is a Great Looking Antique Early American Stoneware Oyster Crock - Jar. Circa Approx 1890s to 1910. The Front Advertises the Oyster Merchants Name - George E. Wales in Newton Center Massachusetts. NOTE That it Comes With its Rare & Hard to Find Original Lid. It is in Excellent All Original Condition and it Displays Beautifully. It has No Damage - No Cracks - No Repairs. A Very Nice piece of Early Boston Area History.
