A vintage set of two Kotobuki square plates featuring a stylized rabbit silhouette within an aqua medallion, framed by a dense gray floral border. The crisp contrast between the white figure and saturated center field reflects late 20th century Japanese export tableware design, produced for the American market with graphic, seasonal motifs suited to entertaining.
The squared form with gently rounded corners and raised rim presents well for desserts, tea service, small bites, or tabletop presentation.
