a very elegant antique louis xvi style dressing table crafted from solid wood and marquetry veneer with a checkerboard pattern.
it features a hinged top with an integrated central mirror and lined interior storage compartments, as well as three drawers on the front.
the tapered legs are typical of the louis xvi style, and the table boasts beautiful gilt bronze ornamentation (keyhole escutcheon and decorative knob).
the piece displays a lovely period patina and is of high-quality craftsmanship.
