Beautiful Art Nouveau glass vase with bronze mount, circa 1899, likely by Johann Lötz's widow.
- The vase is made of bottle-green glass with a richly textured surface and iridescent finish. There are some minor damages, such as broken clips, around the opening of the vase, considering its age of 120 years (see photos).
- The bronze mount is typical of the simple Art Nouveau style and is quite plain. The surface of the bronze mount is matte, not polished. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
