Beautiful monochrome 4-panel folding screen, painted in the style of Wu School of The Ming dynasty (1368–1644) depicts a stunning landscape with mountains. Watercolor and ink on paper. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners and medallions, showing age patina. Silk on back. Detailed. Lightweight. Two brass hangers are included. China, circa 1970s. Nearly excellent condition - no damage to the painting nor back, minor age wear overall, some age wear on the frame, strong hinges, clean, sturdy. This screen most likely had one owner.
