Made by the Atlantic Terracotta Company. There are some pan figure heads on the sides. Impressed numbers to the bottom of the lid. The Atlantic Terracotta company is famed for its many public works. From Wikipedia: Some of the company's most notable projects include the Flatiron Building (1901), the Woolworth Building (1910), the Philadelphia Museum of Art (1928), and the United States Supreme Court (1932). Additionally, the Atlantic Terra Cotta Company and its predecessors contributed significantly to the architecture of Perth Amboy, which features a total of 111 structures with terra cotta detailing or facades. The piece dates to the early part of the 20th century In generally good condition. There are a few minor nicks and glaze flaws with some touched up spots. Possible old repairs to some areas.
