The rich red glaze has another color that flows from the top creating a pleasing contrast and texture.. This second glaze is in tones of grey and white. There are owls on both front and back of this vase. The vase was acquired in Waynsville, North Carolina at a vintage shop. It was used to store walking sticks for climbing the Smokey Mountains. The bottom of the vase is marked Cherokee, has an arrow and the date 3-7-80. See less
