A favorite pastime of mine is collecting gorgeously cool glass beverage sets, pitchers, tankards and jugs; from EAPG to mid-century and anything in between but the pieces must be unique or showstoppers. I have amassed quite a collection and need to downsize a portion of this collection. This very hip and mod looking set hails from the late 1950s. Made in Japan for Holt-Howard from a dazzling neon yellow glass, the jug has a beaker-like shape with a ribbed indented center, making it easy to pick up and pour. The four matching petite tumblers are also ribbed and indented in the center. I do have the original box that will be included in the package when shipping to whomever buys the set. The set measures as follows:

Jug – 8” x 4” H/D (diameter taken from spout tip); capacity 30 oz.
Petite Tumblers – 3¼” x 2½” H/D; capacity 5 oz. apiece

Handcrafted from blown glass with ground and polished bottoms; neon yellow color is part of the glass, not flashed. Together the set weighs 1 lb. 14 oz. In excellent never used condition; original label on all five pieces. One of the tumblers is slightly lighter in weight than the other three; not unusual in handcrafted glassware. There are random inclusions which are small air bubbles inside the glass original to the manufacturer which do not affect the beauty or utility of the set. These air bubbles can get trapped inside of the heated glass during the blowing process and they remain in the finished piece. It’s a head turning set that will complement any bar setup you may have!
