It Measures 30 … Read more This is a Fine Quality - Massive - Monumental Size Antique Sheffield England Silver Plate Serving Tray. It Measures 30 1/4 Inches Long Handle to Handle x 19 3/4 Inches Wide. Circa Late 19th Century. The Perimeter and Handles Display Bold - Very High Relief Grape Clusters & Grapevines with Exceptionally Fine Detail in the Features that Can Only Really Be Appreciated when in Hand - My Photographs Do Not Do It Justice. The Center has Fancy All Hand Engraved Decorations. It is Made Out of Extremely Heavy Cast Solid Copper with Sheffield Silverplated Surfaces. NOTE! That It Actually Weighs Over 19 Pounds. It Is Signed - Has Maker Hallmarks That I Was Not Able To Identify ( See Close Up Photograph in my Listing ). It is in Strong - Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition with No Damage - No Repairs However as You Can See The Sheffield Plate Does have Excessive Wear in Some Areas Revealing the Copper and it is Tarnished Etc.. It has No Added or Removed Monograms.
