Description: This lot is a beautiful set of collector limited edition prints entitled John James Audubon's "'Birds of America', M. Bernard Loates Edition, An Introduction".
This is the complete double elephant folio, inlcuded with the deluxe wood casing, illustrated text, plus the 5 original graphics (based on Audubons / Havells original works and engravings).
These prints are in immaculate condition, and have never been framed.
The 5 limited edition prints are all signed and numbered 44/1000, and include "Great Egret", "Little Blue Heron", "Sandhill Crane", "Key West Quail Dove", and "Blue Winged Warbler".
Included is one sheet, for each bird and it's description and a second rice paper sheet embossed with a gold leafed flying bird.
