Marc chagall (1887-1985) the saving angel: israel, 1960 original lithograph (atelier draeger) unsigned on paper 35.5 x 26.5 cm reference: catalog raisonné chagall lithograph, mourlot #231 information: published for the verve magazine n°37-38 "drawings for the bible", taking up the drawings that marc chagall executed in 1958 and 1959 on biblical themes that he had not yet treated. Excellent condition this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
