This personal keepsake or Etui Necessaire box has domed cylindrical form. The lid is engraved with a religious icon and engraved on the side Christina Margreth Rohden 1778. The sides of the case are further engraved with a small motherly scene along with floral scrolls and a heart. The base has a woman with an anchor and bird and can be comes out to reveal a second hidden compartment. The silver piece is 18th century German or Austrian. 1.37 ozt
