Offered is a Gustav Gurschner Art Nouveau pendant with an iridescent Loetz shade. This rare Austrian lamp was produced in concert between Gurschner, Loetz And commissioned by Bakalowitz Sohn in 1902. The motif is lightning bolts with rams heads clapping together to produce thunder tied together with cobras and the shade in a cutback leaf design to represent fruit of the storms. Awesome and rare piece of Austrian art nouveau.
The actual height of the shade is 6.25" on a 40" chain.
