RARE Antique Kutani The Seven Gods of Fortune Hand Painted Porcelain Wall Plate
Aprox. dimensions: 12" diameter
Very good original condition: no chips or cracks, minor paint wear that is commensurate with age.
The Seven Gods of Fortune
The motif is 七福神 The seven gods of good fortune. Starting from the left, we have Ebisu catching the fish, Daikokuten with his mallet of good fortune, Hotei with the big belly, Benzaiten with her halo, Fukurokuju with his scroll, Bishamonten holding the pagoda, and Jurojin in the back with the scroll on the stick.
