Neoclassic style table lamp in the form of a fluted column pedestal on gilt acanthus scroll feet surmounted by a lebes urn fronted with a gilt pair of sphinx on either side of a lyre.
The base material is clear acrylic thermoplastic resin, known by the trade name Lucite.
The brass spacers and hardware are brass.
The light turns on via a 3-way rotary lamp switch. Plug is fine for wattage in the U.S.A.
The lamp shade is an eggshell white and is more contemporary than the lamp. You may choose to change the shade.
The finial is a brass-tone soft metal and is more contemporary then the lamp. You may choose to replace the finial.
Lamp will suit interiors with elements of Neoclassical, Greek Revival, Egyptian Revival, and French Empire.
