The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with a vibrantly colored, elaborate Imari style pattern. It is completely hand painted and gilded. It has rust red, cobalt blue, green and purple in the design. The entire space on both pieces is covered with fancy gilding or decoration.
