Features the sophisticated "Bird's Beak" or "Eagle Profile" silhouettes in the negative space of the back, a hallmark of 18th-century Philadelphia cabinetmaking.

Hand-decorated with extensive Chinoiserie (Japanese-style) lacquer work, including pagodas, scholars, and intricate floral gilding.

Construction & Details:

Curvilinear cabriole front legs ending in classic pad feet.

Deeply carved scallop shell motif on the knees with secondary sunburst detailing, indicating high-end craftsmanship.

The apron (seat rail) features a geometric lattice and floral border consistent with the overall Chinoiserie theme.

The frame includes a hand-stamped assembly number "4" and remnants of an original manufacturer’s inventory label.

Features the original mid-century salmon Naugahyde upholstery. It has a great retro look that’s held up beautifully over time. The seat pops right out of the frame, making it a "blank canvas" if you ever want to update the look with a new fabric, but it’s ready to use as-is!
