Finished in a layered fat lava glaze of earth tone colors. The interior is finished in a glossy non absorbent darker glaze. A handle is formed on the side of the vase. Lapid Pottery is a well known pottery manufacturer in Israel that was in production from 1944 to 1990, drawing influence from Scandinavian and West German pottery styles.
