A beautiful large antique hand-painted, gilt wood framed oil on canvas painting of "A Skating Party," featuring a beautiful winter scene with a grotto style fountain and several people dressed in period costumes and capes, ice skating on a pond. This painting previously sold at Christie's Auction in July 2002 (label to the verso).
