Elegant French 19th-century bonheur du jour / writing table featuring a floral marquetry inlaid top framed with decorative banding and surrounded by a pierced brass gallery. The hinged top opens to reveal an inset mirror and a fold-down writing surface lined in red leather.
The piece is fitted with two drawers adorned with ornate brass mounts and raised on graceful cabriole legs with decorative brass corner mounts. A refined Louis XV Revival accent, perfect for a bedroom, study, or dressing area.
