The handsome cushions are punctuated with buttons on the back and seat. Lift the seat to reveal new webbing support straps. You’ll also see the Selig emblem and “Made in Denmark” embedded in the seat frame. The vintage 1950s chair has been fully restored with a stripped, sanded and refinished wood frame, new cushions, new upholstery and support straps. This is as good as its gets for a 70 year old chair! Poul Jensen’s masterful chair is a functional work of art. One can truly appreciate the chair’s keen sculptural appeal from the profile and rear views. The angled arms and legs aren’t just about style… the pitch positions the occupant into a lounge position.
