English Arts and Crafts brass ink well. Set with agate cabochon. Early 1900's. Retaining it's glass ink holder. Beautiful chasing work around bottom with cabochons. Pedestal with sphere set with cabochons and beautiful chasing that opens to reveal the ink source.
This unique and charming piece was a real ship's inkwell at one point in it's life. It has the wide flat base to prevent it tipping over in a squall. Original glass insert. The crowning piece is the Scottish cabochons inserts that are on top and on three places on the base. All the cabochons are perfect. Buy me now. I am unique.
