Bryan Rubino. Born 1958 in Washington state. Untitled #3 1997 Blown Glass Vase. Multi-colored filigrana vase of tear drop form. Signed and dated near base. Purchased at Foster/White Gallery, Seattle.
Bryan Rubino began blowing glass in January of 1982 for a small Seattle glass company. In 1984 he was introduced to the Venetian style of glass blowing. From 1988 Bryan worked frequently with Dale Chihuly and his designers on a number of large projects and became one of his main master craftsman. In 2001 he relocated to Olympia and started his own Glass Studio on Highway 101, designing and producing a large number of products for Chihuly until 2003.
