A 1920s or 30s concealed box for personal smalls or secrets. It is made in the shape of a naturally sized book (16x13x2 cm). It has fine lid open/close mechanics and its 'book cover' features intricate machine guillochage characteristic for the early 20th century. It is a rare survivor in this condition, and it has not been polished recently. It was made in Europe during the 1920s or 30s.
