A rare glass piece similar to per lütken's carneby series. This one however was designed by michael e. Bang who were very inspired by his uncle arne bang and his father jacob bang in their fascination of greenland called this design sirius (the name of the danish authority who patrols greenland on dogslade). Designed during the 1970s and made at holmegaard in denmark for a limited time during the 1980s. A beautiful piece for one or a handful of cut flowers.
