It features a nickel-plated or silver-plated metal frame with an openwork gallery of square grid and four spherical legs. The upper section incorporates an oval cushion upholstered in green velvet, intended for pins or needles. The arched handle with perforations lends visual lightness and a distinct geometric character.

A functional and decorative object, ideal for a dresser, desk, or display cabinet.

No silver hallmarks have been found, so it is described as nickel-plated/silver-plated metal and offered as an attributed or period piece.
