Artisan made, the piece is made of wood, with an oak veneer finish, resting on tapered legs. It has 5, clean, functional drawers with their original, brass pull knobs, (see photos), that provide ample storage space measuring at: W: 68 cm x D: 35 cm x H: 12 cm. (see photos.) Note: There is a very slight bit of resistance on the lowest drawer, when nearly closed, so one needs to gently slide it back into place.

Piece is in overall good, original and vintage condition, with some old marks, signs of age, some light areas of faded color, and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, top, edging, side panels, drawers, legs and back, as is to be expected for its age. Some small areas of missing veneer at the bottom edging of the side panels (see magnified photos), some drawer corners (see photos), top inner edgings of drawers (see photos), an ancient repair on the base, above the left front leg (see photos), and some tiny, hairline marks on the top of the veneered, curved edging, (see photos), but nothing that affects the overall functionality nor beauty of the piece.

Piece has been partially restored, just enough to keep its integrity. The old, varnished finish has been redone, oiled and waxed with natural beeswax. Some small touch ups/repairs of veneer, on the fourth drawer (see photo), and lower parts of the left and right side panels.
