Elegant and refined dressing table or entryway console table, made in Italy, dating back to the 1940s or 1950s.
The design of this piece combines elements of Art Deco and Midcentury Modern design.
The frame is made of maple wood with a stained glass top featuring floral engravings.
The beautiful psyche mirror rests on the top and features a brass frame.
Please note that the mirror, still original, has a small chip.
The console table features three drawers with brass handles, as do the tapered leg tips, a typical detail of the period.
The height of the console table alone is 72 cm; the height indicated in the product includes the mirror.
This piece can be used both as a dressing table and as a writing desk or entryway console.
