It has an impressed mark on the saucer, D -75 for December 1875, which makes it 151 years old. Made in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1875. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with a vibrantly colored, elaborate Imari style pattern. It is completely hand painted and gilded. It has rust red, cobalt blue, green and purple in the design. The entire space on both pieces is covered with fancy gilding or decoration. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. This is a wonderful cup and saucer to use or display. See less
