The chest has 2 short over 3 long graduating drawers, made from mahogany, all slide freely , the locks are all in place no keys, the original heavy brass handles could have gilt gold on them, they have there original round nuts, under the top drawer is a pencil signature is this from the maker even possibly Waring or Gillow, that is something will never know, on the back of the chest is a brass name plaque, confirming the makers. This chest of drawers is a stunning example of there craftsmanship, It has lasted many lifetime's and will last many more getting better with age, in looks and as a family heirloom.
