Original polychrome ceramics designed and realized in Italy. Hand-signed and dated on the base in red (L. Fabris). The rubber stamp is also present on the base, near the signature and the date. Excellent condition. Very delicate statuette made in Italy of colored ceramics, realized by the famous Italian sculptor and ceramicist Luigi Fabris. The artwork was realized by Luigi Fabris (Bassano del Grappa, 1883 - 1952), an Italian sculptor and ceramist. In 1920, the Municipality of Bassano commissioned to him the statue La Musa Scrivente dedicated to the writer Giovanni Vaccari. In Milan, he decided to try producing porcelain. Like other artists of the time (Arturo Martini, Bortolo Sacchi, Guido Cacciapuoti), Fabris worked on artist’s multiples, limited series of small sculptures made by artists in collaboration with artisanal laboratories. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
