19th century walnut Flemish arm chair from France.
This is a lovely Flemish armchair made from walnut and newly upholstered in linen. The arms are gracefully shaped and terminate in hand carved acanthus leaf and scrolls. The arms are supported in the front of the chair by hand turned supports, which are lovely in form. The seat measures 19.5 inches in height and the arm measures 25 inches in height.
The base of the chair is stunning, featuring hand turned legs, connected with matching stretchers.
