Antique English Tiger Oak Canterbury Bookstand Music Magazine Bookshelf c1900.
Direct from England, a charming antique English book trough or magazine rack.
The elegant silhouette features an upper “V” trough bookshelf with scalloped sides and button trim on the corner posts.
A sold oak top lifts away to reveal two large storage areas below, ideal for books, magazines or sheet music.
Note the carved Jacobean designs to the center front, framed by raised moulding, with lower scalloped trim to the front and elongated pear feet.
Quality throughout; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1900.
Measurements: 28.5” H x 18” W x 9” D.
