A rare early 1900’s Papier Mache Chinese double window picture frame. Frame is inlaid with Mother of Pearl figures and shapes. They include trees, man holding a fan over a woman, man on ox, hut, man and woman and many butterflies and leaves.
Measures 11 ½” wide, 8 ¼” high and ½” thick. Window opening is 5 ¾” x 4” and can accommodate a 4” x 6” picture. Note: includes in frame are copies. Back open by sliding hinge.
Great condition for it’s age, no cracks or damage.
