Exquisitely hand-crafted sculptural form depicting a single light stem surrounded by naturalistic floral wheat display, decorated fully with curved leaves and wheat sheaf ears, splayed from classically formed turned vasiform pedestal base resting on stylized circular foot, all in brilliant original highly patinated gilt gold finish.

The stunning, sophisticated design and rich, extravagant gilded finish combine to glamorize the humble wheat sheaf, creating an elegant silhouette and really making this stylish lamp pop. Makes for a luxurious statement piece.

This mid-century modern lamp is in good vintage condition and in good working order. Having beautifully aged patina over the whole, that does not detract from the overall display but adds charming character, depth and a lovely warmth.

Wear commensurate with age and use, including imperfections such as scuffs, scratches, chippy paint, distressed paint, finish losses, dark marks, and patination. Original wiring and cord. We are selling it without a lamp shade, but will happily include the gold-tone mulberry paper lampshade shown on it, with heavy creasing and signs of wear, for no additional charge if requested prior to shipping.
