This set of 3 chromolithographs are embossed designs for embroidery patterns. We purchased them in Paris. They date to 1881-1883! There are penciled date notations are the front (first image upper left corner) and on rear sides as well, all attesting to their date. They originally came from the Journal des Demoiselles (Young Ladies). They have raised textured embroidered patterns, clearly visible if you zoom in on the pictures. In addition, the reverse sides show the embossed patterns. The rich earth tones have maintained their vibrancy; the design patterning is detailed; and as a group of 3 they make wonderful wall decor! Excellent, clean condition. 7.5 x 10.75 inches in size. You are purchasing a set of 3 design chromolithographs. See less
