Elegant hand-painted monogrammed plates in lovely ombré shades of rich raspberry, rose, and pink, with an intricate gold scalloped edge detail. Of Bavarian origin, but strongly influenced by the French aesthetic of the period. Wonderful to pair with any solid or patterned china featuring any of these hues. The Rosenthal Bavaria mark on the underside dates the set to the period of 1891-1906.
Excellent antique condition w/ no chips, no cracks, no crazing. Small (1/16") glaze fabrication flaw on one plate which does not detract from use or appearance.
