Striking pair of Postmodern fossil stone column bookends, showcasing the raw beauty and natural variation of sedimentary stone. Each piece is cut into a solid columnar form, revealing organic fossil inclusions, subtle veining, and earthy tonal shifts that make every surface visually unique.
The minimalist geometric shape contrasts beautifully with the irregular fossil textures, a hallmark of Postmodern design that celebrates materiality and form. Substantial in weight and presence, these bookends function equally well as sculptural objects or as functional supports for books on shelving, desks, or credenzas.
Their neutral stone palette allows them to integrate seamlessly into modern, postmodern, brutalist, and organic contemporary interiors. Ideal for collectors of natural stone objects, architectural decor, or statement accessories with timeless appeal.
Very good vintage condition, with natural variations and surface characteristics inherent to fossil stone and consistent with age.
