Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) Noise, 1962 Phototype and original stencil (Atelier Jacomet) Unsigned Limited to 1000 unnumbered copies On thick paper, 40 x 30 cm REFERENCE: Cramer Catalogue Raisonné #115 INFORMATION: Revisiting a technique he had used since 1943, Picasso had created cutouts of heads and silhouettes. In 1962, with his friend, the photographer André Villers, he mounted these cutouts onto 30 different photographs, thus varying their effect and value. The complete set of phototypes was published by Berggruen in the portfolio "Diurnes," printed in an edition of 1000 copies. Excellent condition This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
