Executed in deep cobalt blue glaze with rich hand-applied gilt decoration and a finely painted female portrait medallion in classical style.
The vase features a lidded baluster form with twin handles, raised pedestal base, and elaborate gold ornamentation inspired by late 19th-century historicist and Rococo Revival aesthetics. The hand-painted portrait is framed with ornate gilded cartouches, giving the piece strong decorative and collector appeal.
A fine example of Bohemian luxury porcelain, created for decorative interiors of the Belle Époque period.
