Joan Miro ( 1882 - 1967 ) the Spanish born painter, sculptor, and ceramicist of Jewish descent is considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time. Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, and breaking through the boundaries of the traditional concepts of the composition of an aesthetic image. he had significant influence on the late 20th Century Abstract Expressionist artists. The artworks of Miro are included in many of the most prestigious museums worldwide.
