Tianqiuping translates to 'celestial sphere vase' in Chinese. They became immensely popular in the Qing dynasty, quickly becoming court favorites. This particular porcelain vase has been decorated with cobalt silk ball stamps that resemble images of a kaleidoscope. The lip has been decorated with delicate swirls that resemble clouds or wind. Meanwhile, the white glazed inset base has a blue four-character Qianlong reign mark. Even though this beautiful vase is a modern-day copy, its unique design makes it one of a kind and a perfect statement piece for any room. This vase weighs approximately 6 lbs. See less
