Original vintage New Yorker magazine cover from April 12, 1958 featuring a Circus theme. Based on an illustration by the artist Abe Birnbaum (1899-1966) who painted nearly 200 covers for The New Yorker during his 39 year affiliation with the magazine.
This is an original magazine cover in excellent condition. Cover is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and includes a certificate with additional information and a brief history of New Yorker covers.
