Large Size … Read more This really is a Very Nice Looking Antique American Yellow Ware Kitchen Mixing Bowl. Circa Late 19th Century. Large Size Measuring 13 inches Wide at Top Rimt is Rendered in a Beautiful & Unusual Dark Mustard Yellow Color. These were used for Batters - Bread Dough - Cakes - Cookies - Etc. It is Thick - Substantially Constructed Weighing Over 4 1/2 Pounds - Was Durably Made to be Used Daily. It is Done in a Dijon Mustard Color with a Wide Cream Color Band and 2 Dark Brown Color Directly Below the Top Rim. Origin Most Likely England. It is in Excellent Strong - Sound - Usable Condition - Displays Nicely. No Cracks - No Repairs. It has a Few Surface Glaze Imperfections on the Interior with Some Light Spoon Stirring Wear in the Basin. Note that it has a Factory Flaw Area on he Cream Color Band that Would Have Occurred in The Making - Kiln Firing Process.
