The lamp features a circular brass uplight bowl … Read more Rare Mid Century Tri-Pod floor lamp designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier. The lamp features a circular brass uplight bowl shade with a white perforated insert disk at the bottom. The shade is supported by three waisted form brass rod legs. This example is in good overall condition, however does show some cosmetic wear and flaws, as follows.
The brass finish shows wear, notably at the bowl shade, and the lamp appears to be very slightly out of true. The on/off switch located at the center joint is a later replacement, please see images.
Although not perfect, this iconic lamp still shows well, and is a worthy addition to any Mid Century interior space.
The light has three standard size sockets, and can be operated individually - all are working.
