Sculptural vintage grotto-style side chair in the Italian tradition, circa 1950s–1960s. The chair features a dramatic shell-form back with deeply carved fan detailing, executed in warm-toned wood with a rich, aged patina. Elegant proportions are complemented by gently tapered legs with subtle cutout accents, highlighting the craftsmanship and architectural quality of the piece.
A striking decorative chair well suited for Hollywood Regency, Neoclassical, or eclectic interiors.
I had planned to restore it but decided to decorate in a different style. This could be a great project for someone else!
