Amazing hand painted wood firkin. Hand crafted in the late 1800s for storing butter. This large firkin has an exquisitely detailed peacock/fruit/floral design on both sides and the lid. Black background accentuates the brilliant color palette.
The firkin measures about 15 inches in diameter 14.5 inches tall. It is 20 inches tall with the handle up.
