20th century english solid silver cigar box of rectangular form, finely engraved with linear detailing throughout. A rose gold band … Read more 20th century english solid silver cigar box of rectangular form, finely engraved with linear detailing throughout. A rose gold band frames the edges, while the lid is adorned with a decorative yellow gold border. At the centre, a blank cartouche offers space for personalised engraving. The interior lid is richly gilt, and the box is lined with burr walnut. The underside is covered with a light coloured leather.

hallmarked english solid silver (925 standard), london, year 1937 (b), maker's mark a&coltd (asprey & co ltd).
